Birding the Upper San Pedro River Area with Naturalist Alan Blixt  and Dining with Chef Lark Beaugureau’s Cooking Class at Casa de San Pedro in Hereford

On this adventure trek from Tucson, we’ll travel to the beautiful Casa de San Pedro B&B in Hereford along the upper San Pedro River. On Saturday, we will meet up with local naturalist and popular guide Alan Blixt and spend several hours birding the nearby river riparian area. You should bring a sack lunch. After birding and some rest time, we’ll join Chef Lark Beaugureau and her monthly cooking class for a gourmet dinner (wine included). If you wish, you can join the class early and help with dinner preparation. After our repast, we will do an hour or so of prowling around the property and along the river to see what night avians will greet us. On Sunday, you are on your own for early morning birding before a sumptuous full Casa de San Pedro breakfast. En route home, we’ll visit the Friends of San Pedro River San Pedro House gift shop and grounds to see what’s new, and we will make a stop at the charming and eclectic Singing Wind Book Shop on a ranch near Benson. Tour departs on Saturday at 7:00 AM from and returns on Sunday by 5:00 PM to the Tucson International Airport Park & Save remote parking lot on the SE corner of S. Tucson Blvd. and E. Corona Rd. where vehicles can be safely parked for $4 per day. Limited to 8 participants. Chief Guide and Top Tyranno: Stephen H. Buck, PhD.

FEE POLICY: Full payment is due on registration (or when requested). To register, send check (payable to Stephen H. Buck) to Stephen H. Buck, P.O. Box 64986, Tucson, AZ 85728-4986. Your check will not be deposited until it is certain that the tour is a GO. If the tour does not go, your uncashed check will be returned to you. Your check is your receipt for payment. If you cancel out 30 days or more before the tour, you will be charged a $100 administrative fee. If you cancel out less than 30 days before the tour, you will forfeit 50% of the full tour fee or $100 (whichever is greater) unless we can find a replacement. If we find such replacement, you will receive a 100% refund. You will receive a 100% fee refund if the tour is cancelled by TyrannoTours.
