Fabulous Flagstaff - Cooling It at 7000 Feet

 Friday, July 3 – Sunday, July 5, 2009 (Independence Day Weekend)

PHOENIX-AREA (I-17 AND DUNLAP) PICK UP AND RETURN WILL BE AVAILABLE

On this summer retreat to scenic cooler elevations, we’ll stay two nights at the beautiful Radisson Woodlands Hotel in Flagstaff that features the elegant atrium-style Woodlands Cafe and the Japanese-style Sakura Restaurant. We’ll visit the 76th Annual Hopi Festival of Arts and Culture on the Museum of Northern Arizona campus.  We will also travel to the spectacular Meteor Crater, Wupatki Pueblo and Sunset Crater National Monuments, and the extensive Sinagua rock art carvings at the V Bar V Heritage Site. Other local sites on the activity agenda will be Riordan Mansion State Park, The Arboretum at Flagstaff, and maybe a section or two of the Flagstaff Urban Trail System for a short stroll. Daytime temperatures will be highs in the 80’s; nights will be lows in the 50’s. Tour departs on Friday at 7:00 AM from and returns on Sunday by 5:00 PM to the Tucson International Airport Park & Save remote lot on the SE corner of S. Tucson Blvd. and E. Corona Rd. where vehicles can be safely parked for $4 per day. Limited to 8 participants. Chief Guide and Top Tyranno: Stephen H. Buck, PhD.

FEE POLICY: Full payment is due on registration (or when requested). To register, send check (payable to Stephen H. Buck) to Stephen H. Buck, P.O. Box 64986, Tucson, AZ 85728-4986. Your check will not be deposited until it is certain that the tour is a GO. If the tour does not go, your uncashed check will be returned to you. Your check is your receipt for payment. If you cancel out 30 days or more before the tour, you will be charged a $100 administrative fee. If you cancel out less than 30 days before the tour, you will forfeit 50% of the full tour fee or $100 (whichever is greater) unless we can find a replacement. If we find such replacement, you will receive a 100% refund. You will receive a 100% fee refund if the tour is cancelled by TyrannoTours.
